About the Home/Today Widget
With widgets in iOS 14 and later, you can now see your fasting progress at a glance on your Home/Today Screen. There are currently 2 sizes to choose from.
- The widget for basic Zero displays the time remaining or elapsed in an active fast.

Adding Home/Today Widgets
- From the device's Home/Today Screen, long-press on an empty area until the apps jiggle.
- Tap the + button in the upper-right corner.
- Search for 'Zero'
- Select a widget size, and tap 'Add Widget'
Home/Today widget not working?
If you're having trouble with the Zero widget, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

Tap and hold on the Zero widget until it shakes

Tap 'Remove Widget'

Restart your device

Re-add the widget

Press and hold Zero app

Tap 'Edit home screen'

Tap the '+' on upper left

Tap on the Zero widget

About the Lock Screen Widget
With iOS 16 and later, you can now see your fasting progress at a glance on your device's lock screen without having to unlock your device. A lock screen widget can be added beneath the device's home screen clock.
Adding a Lock Screen Widget
- When the screen is unlocked touch the screen and pull down as if to view notifications. This will display the lock screen.
- Firm press and hold the lock screen until the Customize button appears, then tap Customize.
- Tap 'Lock Screen'
- Tap the box below the device's time to view the widgets that you can add to your lock screen. From there just tap the large or small lock screen widget
- Tap the widget(s) that you want to add to your lock screen then tap an empty space on the screen.
(If there’s not enough room for a new widget, you can tap the Remove button
to remove a widget and make room for the one you want to add.) - Tap Done and tap the screen the screen containing the widgets (for demonstration purposes, we've added both the small and large widget)
How the Lock Screen Widget Works
- The large lock screen widget displays fast progress as elapsed or remaining time and fasting zone

Fast Goal Reached!
- When a fast goal is reached but a fast is still in progress in the app the ring will stop progressing
- When a goal is reached & the fast is ended in the app the widget changes to Goal Reached and will display a checkmark for 10 minutes in the small lock screen app. The large lock screen app will display the che
- After a fast is ended in the app the small lock screen widget will display a check mark for 10 minutes and the large lock screen widget will display the completed duration and a small time since last fast counter.
- After 10 minutes the small widget change the timer ring with no counter and the large lockscren widget's content will change to a larger counter that continues to display the time since last fast
