About
You can sync Zero directly with Apple Health and Google Fit to track the impact your fasting practice has on your weight, sleep, and resting heart rate. Note that this can be a two-way sync, meaning permission may be given to write data both to and from Zero. You can adjust these in Health and Fit apps.
What if I want to connect to a different app?
Popular apps such as Garmin Connect¹ , Strava², Nike Training Club³ and more can all work with Zero through a connection with Apple Health or Google Fit. To sync these, simply open these apps and follow their publisher’s instructions to connect them to Apple Health or Google Fit. Zero will import this data from Apple Health and Google Fit for you, bringing all of your health data together.
This health data will show up on the Today tab in your habit tracker in Zero's free version's graphs and in Zero Plus correlation graphs in your Profile inside the Me tab.

Health Sync FAQs
Q: Why don't all my activities sync to Zero?
A: Zero only syncs activity that Apple Health categorizes as 'workouts'. Workouts are defined as an activity that raises and maintains your heart rate higher than a certain threshold. If certain activities or time doesn't sync from Health (most commonly walking) and the permissions are set correctly, this is likely why. In these cases, you may manually add these activities in Zero by heading to the Today tab > tap the upper right hand '+' sign > 'Add Activity'.
Q: Why does synced data I deleted in Health still show in Zero?
A: While Zero syncs new data as it is logged in Health, it doesn't delete synced data automatically when data is deleted from Health; a manual sync update is required for this. To do this, go to the 'Connected Apps' menu and use the 'Resync Data' option.

Encountering an issue? Make sure device permissions for Zero are on.
Maintaining Google Fit sync
Some users with phones set to automatically adjust permissions to save space may find that they have granted Zero permission to access their health data, only to have this permission removed by their phone. This will primarily occur for apps that are not commonly used, but if you do not remember disabling permissions it is worth checking (through the same steps above) whether your device has done it on your behalf.
