Would like amount or average minutes of night eating to show up in the sane summary area that shows 7 day average fast, number of fasts, etc.

An earlier version of Zero graphically visualized one’s trend for night eating over weeks and months, if I recall correctly. Either way, please add that function to the Circadian Rhythm fast. We are tracking the length of our fasts, the consistency of our fasts, but night eating matters as well, right? Please give us a graph that will illuminate how we’re doing in regard to night eating over the course of weeks and months.

I really miss the night eating summary! Please also add countdown to sunrise.

Would love to see the ability to track Night time eating with other fasts beyond the circadian fast. For example I would prefer to choose a 14 hour fast and still be able to track my nighttime eating.

In this post you show a screen shot of a 16:8 fast with night eating Captured? How is this done I only see night eating info when I select Circadian fast?

To facilitate a Circadian Fast, and avoiding night eating, I would like to see the fasting reminder feature of Zero integrated with iOS Night Shift so as to automatically provide a user determined advance reminder (i.e 10, 30, 45, 60 min) that adapts to the changing sunset times throughout the year. I too would like to see night eating metrics reintroduced into the UI. I recall the early version had something that worked well. Thanks!

Since the Zero app no longer tracks and charts data on night eating —the crux of circadian rhythm fasting– I have stopped using the app. Please let us know when the app has this essential data tracked, charted, and displayed over different time intervals.

@John Archer the app still tracks night eating, it just displays the metrics VERY poorly. What app have you replaced Zero with that does a better job? I too miss having a graphical way to see how my night eating performance plays out over time. As it stands I have to dig down in to each individual day to see if there was any night eating. There is “zero” overview for this metric.

I'm going to add my two cents here as well. First off, I love having the Zero app. It's enabled me to focus consistently on daily fasting. However, the latest update has been horrible for tracking night eating on the circadian rhythm fast. The History Section of the app needs a lot of work. Would really, really like to have a graph that shows me exactly how long I fasted and exactly how much night eating took place.

I’ve been using Zero for more than a year and I am also frustrated at how difficult it is to figure out night fasting. Since you’re working on an update, let me recommend that you model some of your changes on the Sleep Cycle app, which gives users detailed information, graphs, reminders, all kinds of important data to help Identify patterns and change lifelong habits. Why not also include an option to have the app switch to dark mode at night and standard or light mode during daylight hours? A graph indicating patterns of night time eating would also be helpful. From a statistical point of you, sleep cycle is the best app I’ve seen for ease of use and in-depth information about the users patterns. If you haven’t already, check it out. Thanks for your work on the update. I look forward to seeing it.
